JISEA Annual Meeting Focuses on Clean Energy Innovation and Power Sector Transformation
May 1, 2018— At the JISEA Annual Meeting last month, nearly 100 attendees were on hand in Golden, Colorado, for moderated discussions about ongoing changes to energy systems; implications for technology, policy, and finance; and how innovation is driving change. Power sector transformation also provided interesting opportunities for dialogue. Increased electrification of transportation and other services—combined with decarbonization of power supplies—have been identified as critical elements for energy systems around the world.
In addition to formal presentations, the follow-on Q&A provided huge value by allowing attendees to engage with panel speakers and each other about shared challenges and opportunities.
