Patricia Statwick is JISEA's project administrator, and works to develop, implement, and manage JISEA programs. She provides project management for programs ranging from topical studies to international technical assistance. JISEA is engaged in ongoing studies related to natural gas and the U.S. electricity sector, energy storage, GHG emissions, and other power sector issues. JISEA also has teams of analysts, engineers, and scientists involved in providing multi-year programs of technical assistance internationally, including assistance to Mexico, China, India, and Southeast Asia.

Prior to joining JISEA, Statwick was associate director of an entrepreneurship development program at Northwestern University focused on launching Homeland Security technology start-ups. She managed a seed grant program to assist start-up technology companies in reaching the next level of development, and provided access to training and resources to improve the entrepreneur's chances for success.

Statwick's experience extends to technology transfer and commercialization activities for NASA in Illinois, for which Battelle was the primary contractor; business development for a start-up satellite imagery analysis company; small business consulting; and financial analysis for the banking and information technology industries.

Statwick has a master of applied science degree in environmental policy management, with a concentration in energy and sustainability, from the University of Denver. She also has an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
